How to Apply
Scholarships are provided to Methow Valley residents, including:
- graduates, or pending graduates of Liberty Bell High School, Methow Valley Independent Learning Center, and home schools, and
- returning or older students.
Candidates are evaluated based primarily on financial need, followed by academic record, contribution to the community, and employment record.
Each candidate completes an application and is interviewed by Foundation board members.
Applications are due in the spring of each year, with actual due-dates determined by the Methow Valley School District.
Once a scholarship is given, it is renewable for up to 4 years (or two if awarded for a community college or two year trade school) so long as the student continues to attend an accredited school full time, makes expected progress toward their degree and maintains a GPA of at least 2.0. Scholarships are paid in the second semester or quarter of each academic year except in cases of special need as determined by the board.
The duration of the Vocational Scholarship will be used on the length of the particular training program.
Hardcopy applications are available from the Liberty Bell Jr/Sr High School guidance office, or by clicking below for the digital version.
